If there’s no liner in your trash can, your guest either assumes they can’t put trash in it or they will put something disgusting in there and make you wish you had a liner.

I have had the unfortunate displeasure of having to walk from someone’s guest bathroom to their kitchen to dispose of my feminine product packaging because there was no liner in the basket of the guest bathroom and that didn’t seem like the right place to dispose of it.

I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten my makeup remover wipes when traveling out of town. It would have been a huge relief to have a couple available in the guest bathroom.
Whatever you do, don’t forget the extra toilet paper in the guest bathroom! Guests may feel awkward asking for more, and even worse, if they run out when they need it, you could be running to supply them with extras in the middle of a compromising position for them.
