Best Mason Jar Replacement Pumps
Share
Overview
Mason jar pumps are different from standard bottle replacement pumps because they attach to a jar lid instead of a bottle neck.
And the pumps and lids are usually sold together to ensure a good fit.
These pump kits are designed to turn mason jars into viscous liquid dispensers or foaming soap dispensers.
The most important fit detail is whether the lid fits a regular-mouth or wide-mouth mason jar.
A regular threaded mason jar is usually 70 millimeters diameter and the wide mouth jars are 86 millimeters diameter.
Use this page to compare mason jar pump lids for hand soap, dish soap, lotion, and foaming soap.
Before buying, confirm your jar mouth size, pump type, dip tube length, and whether the pump is intended for regular liquid products or foaming soap.

Based on reviews, personal experience and brand quality, I've selected a few specific pumps that may work well for you. Always check details, as listings on third party sites can change.

How To Choose a Mason Jar Pump Conversion Kit
There are precious few of these mason jar soap pumps available for purchase, so if you see one you like in the list above, I suggest getting that one.
I've eliminated from my recommendations any mason jar pumps that were disappointing to customers.
Since mason jars come in a couple different mouth widths, you'll need to know which one you're trying to fit, either standard or wide mouth.
The ones listed above are for standard sized mason jars.
I couldn't find any well-rated mason jar pumps for wide mouth mason jars when I wrote this article.
Each of the ones I've listed above are well-rated, but two have a metal lid and one has a plastic lid.
For me, I always go with plastic for something like this due to potential for metal to rust or corrode.
But if you prefer metal, both of the options I found were from Walmart.
See the details and links in the table above.
I've given you all the relevant information for choosing the right size pump in the table above, but only you can decide which works best for you.
Important Fit Notes
The parts of a mason jar conversion kit are not necessarily interchangeable with other kits.
So don't assume you can buy one kit for the lid and the other kit for the pump.
It's highly unlikely they use all the same dimensions.
There is no "standard" when it comes to thread dimensions for pumps and lids.
But there are common sizes.
For more information on common sizes, see my page on Best Replacement Pumps for Bottles.
